HOW TO PLAY

Breach Protocol is a turn-based strategy game about network security. Before each match, pick a side: play as the Blue Team defending a corporate network, or as a Red Hat hacker trying to breach one.

• Each round you allocate limited resources to firewalls, monitoring, and countermeasures (Blue Team) or exploits, reconnaissance, and intrusion tools (Red Team).
• Timing matters more than raw power — a well-timed move against an undefended system beats brute force every time.
• Watch the opponent's patterns. Both sides get partial information, so reading behavior is as important as your own plan.
• A match ends when the network is fully breached, fully secured, or the round limit runs out.

No real hacking knowledge required — the mechanics are abstracted into resource management and timing, not actual commands.
